What does it mean to be an AdVENTURE student? Well it means your going to learn in many ways with many fun and challenging projects along the way. We write blogs for some classes and go on fun websites like Zondle and BrainGenie.

We also have Globaloria, a fun way to make your own video games with Adobe Flash[ Of course the games are educational]. Are teachers are nice and are a blast to work with and are classrooms are decently sized for a class. I have had many fun moments here at AdVENTURE and made many new friends! Now one thing is we sometimes have to do plays for classes which can be dreadful for some people but in reality they can be fun and sometimes surprisingly easy, mostly for those who have good memory to remember there lines.

 

AdVENTURE has made me learn in so many ways and i feel i have become a better student now. In previous years in my regular school i got bored easily and sometimes reaching a goal seemed hard but i feel AdVENTURE helped me overcome this. I belive that trying differnt things is something we should all try and in edjucation it can pay of if you choose the right thing, and i think if you are thinking on going to a new school you should research on it which i did when i first came to adventure and for me it helped me expand my edjucation and it allowed me to learn in ways i wouldnt have in regular middle schools. My learning skills have helped me to create cool projects ,which you can learn about in the other tabs, and also help me get used to projects we tend to do a lot.

 

Some times we go on field trips here at adventure and i think for most students its what they like best. We sometimes go to some places you wouldnt think about going to and i feel these locations can teach me new things i havent learned. Some places we have been to is Microsoft, Almaden Lake, Great America, and etc. Another great way of learning i like to do is via movies, every once in a while we will watch a movie about a subject but what i feel the movie does is to give you a illistration of what happened and make it look as if the event is happening right in front of you. Both these are pheraps my most favorite way to learn as a student.

 

For those veiwing this i hope this little review on my work and time spent at AdVenture helps you to make a choice at going to AdVenture or maybe inspire you to think of new ways to learn. My best work is what i think is the best in my opnion but my teachers may have other opnions but it is to give you a clue at what you may expect to see at AdVenture. If you are a school and technacal kind of person then thsi school might be just for you. So a big quistion you may be asking is "What are your teachers like?". In my opnion they are very nice and seem determined to help you learn and they tend to do this in many ways, for example in math we tend to have a quiz after we learn a subject and i feel this helps are teacher to see if we are ready to move on or if a student needs help.

 

 Is it worth it? Yes! I have had so many good experinces here and unlike any other middle school we learn in fun and creative ways. If you are looking for a fun school come try AdVenture, i bet you it will be a good choice. So if you ever get asked to come to AdVenture i hope you say yes, sadly i wont meet you but i hope these words can inspire you to make a good choice.
